Brailletec
Tecnoseñal, combining its social commitment and innovative drive, has launched a project aimed at adapting signage for people with visual impairments, while ensuring these signs are highly resistant to environmental factors such as weather, sunlight, and even acts of vandalism.
Although adapted signage systems currently exist, they do not meet the core requirements set out in this project: high mechanical resistance; strong adhesion to the substrate; the ability to use any color; no need for molds, matrices, or screens; affordable cost; and the capability to create Braille dots, lines, and high-relief surfaces using the same material and system.
To achieve this, the Brailletec project has been implemented, allowing Tecnoseñal to acquire sufficient knowledge to implement an innovative technology that meets all these requirements.
This grant is subject to the provisions of Commission Regulation (EU) No. 651/2014 of 17 June 2014, which declares certain categories of aid compatible with the internal market under Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty. It will be funded by the Autonomous Community of Castilla-La Mancha and, where applicable, by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the 2014–2020 ERDF Operational Programme of Castilla-La Mancha.
