Sustainability Actions

Pacto mundial de las naciones unidas
We continuously strive to integrate the Ten Principles into our business strategy, culture, and daily operations, and to contribute to the United Nations’ goals, particularly with regard to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Ecovadis
At Tecnoseñal, we reaffirm our commitment to sustainability, business ethics, and social responsibility. That’s why we are part of EcoVadis, one of the world’s leading platforms for assessing corporate sustainability performance.
We are proud to have been awarded the Silver Medal in the EcoVadis assessment for the period 02/12/2025 – 02/12/2026. This recognition highlights our best practices in key areas such as the environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
This accreditation reinforces our commitment to continuous improvement and transparency with our clients, collaborators, and strategic partners.

SME CLIMATE HUB
Tecnoseñal has joined the SME Climate Hub platform, strengthening our commitment to sustainability and environmental care.
With this commitment, we aim to reduce our carbon emissions by 50% by 2030, actively contributing to a greener and more responsible future for all.
We are convinced that only through concrete actions can we build a more sustainable future—for both businesses and people—by working together for a healthier planet.
Self-Consumption
We have our own photovoltaic installations that allow us to generate part of the energy we consume from renewable sources.
Currently, 34% of the energy consumed at our facilities comes directly from our solar plants, significantly reducing the use of conventional electricity from the power grid. This effort reflects our commitment to emissions reduction, responsible resource use, and the transition to a more sustainable energy model.
Furthermore, any surplus solar energy generated is returned to the grid, thus actively contributing to a cleaner and more balanced electrical system.
Carbon Footprint Report
We calculate the carbon footprint inherent in the company’s activity in order to implement actions aimed at its gradual reduction.
Scope: Scopes 1 and 2
Methodology: MITECO calculator using updated 2022 factors for Scopes 1 and 2.
This calculator allows us to easily estimate the greenhouse gas emissions associated with an organization’s activities, considering both direct emissions and indirect emissions from electricity consumption.
Scope 3 emissions are not included in this calculation.
It also provides the ability to quantify the emissions reduction from a specific improvement plan or to compare emissions results across different years. Additionally, it presents a series of emission ratios that help establish magnitudes and facilitate understanding of the results.
Scope 3 is excluded from this calculation.
Use of Innovative Materials
PureAir by Pureti
Tecnoseñal is already applying PureAir by Pureti decontaminating technology to various Corporate Image and Commercial Furniture elements. This technology turns furniture, illuminated signs, flags, indoor and outdoor digital totems, monoliths, kiosks, bus shelters, gas stations, charging stations, vehicles, etc., into decontaminating elements through the principle of photocatalysis—a chemical reaction triggered by sunlight that transforms atmospheric oxygen and water vapor into cleaning agents for pollutants such as NOx (greenhouse gases), SOx, VOCs, as well as bacteria, mold, and unpleasant odors.
This water-based compound containing titanium dioxide nanoparticles acts as a long-lasting decontaminant when exposed to light. It is safely applied to all types of surfaces via micronized spraying. Titanium dioxide, the ninth most common mineral on Earth, is widely used as a whitening agent in toothpaste and as a UV blocker in sunscreens.
Each square meter of Tecnoseñal-manufactured surface treated with PureAir by Pureti is equivalent to the air purification of one adult tree—or, in other words, to removing from the atmosphere the emissions generated by half a car over one year.
